  • Just installed this on a brand new Lenovo P14s Gen 2 because the fan was expiration constantly while 'Finer performance' OR 'Best public presentation' power manner was chosen, even while idle. Working cleanly then far. I recommend using the apparatus option for installing TP Fan Controller arsenic a system armed service (which you can also practice mail service install if you take care at the readme.txt), so you and so won't have the system notice always visible. Clearly Lenovo's own power management drivers are blemished as the fan focal ratio is never reduced spell jobless unless you interchange to 'Better battery' power mode, which defeats the propose of having such an high-ticket and powerful laptop computer.

  • I am amazed that this works for my Thinkpad L590. It has been running so hot that I rump't sit with it on my swish; I really bought a laptop cooler, which works merely is audible to go on just about. After I installed the tpfancontrol I actually had control over the fan and could produce it bi along when needed (the first time I could in reality hear the fan working). Aft elaboration the point at which the laptop got too hot, I was able to use the ini file to set the buff on at a special temperature. Now it works the like a becharm. No more sweltry knees!

  • The app has a an option in the task tray that says "FAQ/Google" or something like it. When you click it, you get orientated to what seems ilk a phishing website that alerts you of viruses etc and loud beeps blasting from you PC. I do non trust the app any more because of this. It looks like malware to ME.

  • I am affected with the quality of coding in this app. May 2022 on Windows 10 .1909 64 bit Thinkpad x230T -- and it Yet works perfectly. Fans are noticably quieter when managed by Thinkpad Fan Controller. I am giving it 5/5 for entirely 4 sub-ratings. There is no more website anymore -- but no need for documentation when the app just whole works. Give thanks you!
